The Joy Test

Immediate partnered with the University of Sussex to understand what really brings people joy. Through a nationally representative survey of 2,182 people, supported by a wider dataset of over 7,500 respondents and qualitative research, the study explored how 21 everyday activities contribute to wellbeing, and where they fall short. The findings reveal a powerful truth: not all leisure is equal, and the environments, content and communities that surround these activities play a critical role in amplifying joy.
